This is the second edition of a well-regarded book about Alzheimer’s disease (AD). It took 41 experts to write, so it is a tall order to expect just one person to review it. Fortunately, I can start with a simple emotional response by making it clear that I really enjoyed the job. It may not be Harry Potter, but it has a page turning quality that is usually absent from works of equivalent academic merit. Many of the authors have written or contributed to other books and I am sure that the readability of this volume owes something to that experience.
