About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover design  Subcellular localization of ataxin-7 was studied by double immunolabelling and subsequent confocal microscopy. Upper left: partial colocalization (yellow) of ataxin-7 (green) and BiP (red), a marker of the endoplasmic reticulum. Upper right: absence of colocalization of ataxin-7 (red) with the mitochondrial marker COX2 (green). Lower left: absence of colocalization of ataxin 7 (red) with the transgolgi network (green). Lower right: presence of ataxin7 (green) in a cerebellar glomerulus. The green ataxin-7 labelling was close to but not colocalized with the red labelling of SNAP 25, a presynaptic protein (see paper for details).
