About the Cover
Cover design T2-weighted images and proton spectra from a control subject (top) and a traumatically brain injured patient (bottom). The patient has an increased choline (Cho) level from a region (as illustrated) containing normal-appearing white matter adjacent to a contusional haematoma. This would be in keeping with a diffuse cellular injury undetectable using conventional imaging techniques. From `Evidence for cellular damage in normal-appearing white matter correlates with injury severity in patients following traumatic brain injury: a magnetic resonance spectroscopy study' by M. R. Garnett et al., 14031409.
