COVER ILLUSTRATION. NR1 and NR2A/B proteins detected by immunohistochemistry in paraformaldehyde-fixed brain sections isolated from transgenic mice (T mice), which carried a transgene containing a cDNA coding for a constitutively active 1B-adrenergic receptor, and nontransgenic (NT) mice. Immunohistochemical localization of these NMDA receptor subunit proteins is shown in 12--13 month old brains. From `Gene expression profile of neurodegeneration induced by 1B-adrenergic receptor overactivity: NMDA/GABA dysregulation and apoptosis' by J. Yun et al pp. 2667-2681.
