Cover Figure

COVER ILLUSTRATION. Michio Suzuki and colleagues from Toyama, Japan, have used MRI to study the pathogenesis of schizophrenia. The top row shows delineations of medial temporal regions taken from mutually orthogonal transaxial, sagittal and coronal planes, along with a three-dimensional reconstructed image of the three regions. Each region is differentially coloured: amygdala (green), hippocampus (red) and parahippocampal gyrus (blue). The main image shows a three-dimensional reconstruction of an anterior view of the brain from Suzuki et al. pp 2109–2122.
